PRETORIA - Racism continues to show its ugly head in South Africa, thirty years after democracy with occasional incidents that remind us of our painful past. 

Most recently, several pupils at Pinelands High School were suspended after holding a mock auction of their fellow black classmates.

A clinical physiologist argues that the country has yet to heal from the traumas of apartheid.
