PRETORIA - Finally, some good news for South Africans. The official unemployment rate for the country has come down.
The rate fell from 33-point-5 percent in the second quarter to 32-point-1 percent in the third quarter.
However, despite this improvement, joblessness remains high, with youth unemployment remaining a concern. This as many young South Africans are either struggling to find work or have given up looking altogether.
Deputy Minister in the Presidency Nonceba Mhlauli discussed these developments with the eNCA.
