JOHANNESBURG - G20 foreign ministers are meeting in Johannesburg on Thursday.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is not attending, but the country is sending a local diplomat to attend.
It comes ahead of the November G20 summit, after which South Africa will hand over the Presidency to the US.
But, Donald Trump's views and decisions are raising uncomfortable questions.
On Wednesday he accused Ukraine of starting the war and accused Zelensky of being a dictator.
Not to speak of his disinformation about South Africa.
Wits International Relations expert, John Stremlau, says the foreign ministers should reconsider Trump as next year's host.
