JOHANNESBURG - The Free State says it's ready to welcome tourists.

Through the launch of the Tourism Excellence Small Town Programme,  the province is hoping to attract tourists to  the province.

It held a session last week bringing stakeholders together to develop a culture of excellence in customer service.

It's committed to ensuring everyone in the sector plays a role in improving service levels.
