Discussion | Three years since murder of whistleblower

JOHANNESBURG - On Friday, Babita Deokaran's family will gather alongside members of various organisations at the crime scene to commemorate her brutal assassination.

They are also formally writing to the Gauteng Government, calling on it to honour her by renaming Thembisa hospital in her name for her courageous efforts to fight corruption, and also as a means of promoting whistle-blowing.
