Discussion | South Africans taking home more pay

JOHANNESBURG - You may not believe it, but take-home pay is on the increase.

This is according to the latest BankservAfrica Take-home Pay Index.

It reported the average nominal take-home pay slipped in June 2024.

But when we compare it to June of the previous year, it's still 6 percent higher.

This means that average salaries in the country continue to improve.
