JOHANNESBURG - Expat South Africans turned out in the thousands to make their mark on the first day of voting.
From the South Africa House in London to Santiago in Chile, many travelled long hours to cast their ballots.
Voting is over two days, with extended hours to cater to the high number of voters.
South Africans living abroad are expected to vote this weekend.
