JOHANNESBURG - The rape of seven-year old Cwecwe has sparked nationwide outrage with much of the anger directed towards education officials and police for their apparent slow response.
The incident reportedly took place on school property at Bergview College in Matatiele last year.

Police Minister Senzo Mchunu has said that the Senior State Prosecutor will be consulted this week following which the family will be provided with feedback.
According to Wise4Afrika director and advocate Brenda Madumise-Pajibo, parents have a voice and should be given the chance to hold educators accountable and provide solutions.
