JOHANNESBURG - Amid the high unemployment rate, South Africa faces a significant skills mismatch.
The education system is struggling to produce graduates with skills the job market needs.
Deputy Higher Education Minister, Buti Manamela says the mismatch of skills is a major problem, however, they are doing their best to make change with interventions such as SETA.
"Yes the mismatch is a major concern, but we think that some of the interventions, our SETAs, and our institutions are helping us to move forward," he said.
