JOHANNESBURG - The KZN and Free State snowstorms highlighted shortcomings in our ability to respond to natural disasters.

That’s according to independent analyst, Alex Malapane.Heavy snowfall caused major disruptions in parts of the country this weekend.

Some motorists were trapped in their vehicles on the N3, which was blanketed with unusually thick snow.

Malapane says Government alone is not able to tackle disaster response alone.
