JOHANNESBURG - A dispute of the controversial SABC bill has drawn in more players.
Earlier Digital Technologies Minister, Solly Malatsi, wrote to the National Assembly Speaker, Thoko Didiza, to inform her he was withdrawing the bill.
His Deputy and the former Minister, Mondli Gungubele, said that was a bad idea and it would have negative consequences.

Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni then said that Malatsi was not able to withdraw the bill.
But Three civil society organizations are disputing that.
One of them is Media Monitoring Africa, the organization’s Thandi Smith spoke to eNCA.
