The campaign was launched in Soweto yesterday by Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi.
UN AIDS has called the initiative a significant step toward ending the pandemic as a public health threat by 2030.
"The campaign is to make sure that those who are left behind, about 1,1 million people who needs to get on to these treatment, are back on treatment", said Anne Githuku-Shongwe from UN AIDS Eastern and Southern Africa.
