Discussion | Riverlea residents living in fear of zama zamas

JOHANNESBURG - Residents in Riverlea have requested Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi to spend a night in the area to experience their lived experience with Zama Zamas.

Towards the end of last year, police conducted several operations in the area after clashes between illegal miners and residents resulted in several deaths.
