GAUTENG - In Johannesburg, gender-based violence in the nightlife scene has become a serious concern.

Alarming crime statistics reveal numerous cases of attempted murder and grievous harm against women.

In response, the University of Johannesburg’s Community Engagement Unit has launched a pioneering project to tackle this issue in clubs, bars, and other night-time venues.
