Discussion | Proposed water tariff increase for Vaal-Orange River

PRETORIA - The Department of Water and Sanitation and the Vaal-Orange Catchment Management Agency want to increase water tariffs for the new financial year of 2025/2026.

The tariffs will apply to domestic and industry users and those who discharge waste into water sources.

The important catchment area covers communities across Mpumalanga, Gauteng, North West, Free State, Eastern Cape and the Northern Cape provinces.
