CAPE TOWN - The National Minimum Wage Commission has recommended a base pay increase of the inflation rate plus 1.5% for 2025.
Trade Union federation, the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has welcomed this but has tabled a slightly higher proposal to the Commission.
The current minimum wage is R27.58 per hour, which, could mean the minimum wage for 2025 could rise to R28.50
