JOHANNESBURG - The death penalty in Zimbabwe has officially been abolished.
Around 60 people who are currently on death row will have their sentences adjusted.
Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has signed the Death Penalty Abolition Act into law with immediate effect.
