JOHANNESBURG - Trade Union Solidarity says the two-pot retirement system poses a huge risk to pension funds and the livelihood of the elderly.
President Cyril Ramaphosa signed the Pension Fund Amendment Bill into law on Sunday.
Individuals will soon have access to a portion of their retirement funds for times of financial distress.
A separate portion will be preserved until retirement.
