JOHANNESBURG - Once again the IEC has hosted peaceful elections, and empowered voters to choose their preferred leaders and political parties. 

But as one political analyst puts it, South Africans are still voting for personalities with little regard for their policies and alignments.

Should they be demanding more out of their political representatives?
