JOHANNESBURG - Over 9,000 people have been killed in mass shootings over the past five years.
That's according to Police Minister Senzo Mchunu in response to a parliamentary question from Rise Mzansi.
He also revealed that 20 percent of the million suspects arrested during Operation Shanela have prior convictions.
This comes amid yet another mass shooting in Pienaar township in Mpumalanga on Saturday.
To discuss this further, we are joined by IRS Forensic Investigator, Chad Thomas.
