Discussion | Oldest human DNA from South Africa decoded

CAPE TOWN - A team of researchers has made significant advances in understanding the genetic history of humans in southern Africa.

The scientists have reconstructed the oldest human genomes ever found in South Africa. 

This through the analysis of human remains from two people who lived about 10,000 years ago. 

Professor Victoria Gibbon, Biological Anthropologist at the University of Cape Town, one of the researchers involved in the study spoke to eNCA.
