JOHANNESBURG - The NPA is being accused of fumbling the Timothy Omotoso rape case. The Nigerian televangelist was found not guilty on all charges.
His co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho weer also acquitted. They faced charges of rape, sexual assault, racketeering, and human trafficking.
Nthabiseng Sepanya-Mogale, chairperson of the Commission for Gender Equality, believes the NPA should follow up with the powers that have been delegated, such as portfolio committee justices or national director public prosecutors, to explain what happened.
