JOHANNESBURG - Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says current power interruptions are a result of boiler tube leaks rather than sabotage.
He gave the update on power cuts at a briefing today. He says nine units have been out of operation for two days owing to leaks.

He adds Eskom is coordinating with manufacturers to get the units back up as soon as possible.
