DURBAN, KZN - The Mpumalanga province has the highest number of people living with HIV, recording 890,000.

The Human Sciences Research Council's lead investigator Khangelani Zuma, says its part of the findings of the 2022 Sixth South African HIV Prevalence, Incidence, and Behaviour Survey.

Zuma says this represents 17.4% in the province with just over five million population. 

Khangelani Zuma spoke to eNCA about the findings and recommendations of the study.
