This includes costs associated with the properties’ ownership, maintenance and improvements.
Public Works Minister Dean Macpherson revealed this in Parliament this week.
But despite these costs, parliamentarians regularly complain about the state of their housing, from asbestos roofing to poor maintenance and safety.
