PRETORIA - The Border Management Authority has resumed services at the Lebombo Border Post.
The port of entry has now fully reopened to allow cargo operations. But authorities are still working on clearing a backlog.
The port was shut earlier this week due to clashes in Mozambique over disputed election results.
Protests on the Mozambican side of the border saw vehicles being torched and looted, with fears the would spill over to South Africa.
BMA Commissioner Michael Masiapato spoke to eNCA.
