Discussion | Mining water dumped on vulnerable communities

JOHANNESBURG - The lives of people living near mines are at risk.

This is due to poor quality water.

Recent tests in Marikana found elevated levels of cadmium, aluminium, lead, and manganese, to name a few.

This is because water pumped out of mines is being delivered to communities.
