STELLENBOSCH - A new study by Stellenbosch University shows that a safer, more effective, and reversible contraceptive for men is within reach.
The contraceptive is a reversible hydrogel that could be used as a non-hormonal birth control for men.

It was developed by Kyla Raoult, who obtained her master’s degree in Polymer Science.
The hydrogel is designed to stay in place until the patient wants to restore fertility.
Raoult spoke more about the work she’s done and when people can start having access to it.
