Discussion | Load reduction in seven provinces

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has reached an Energy Availability Factor of 70 percent.

But, it's implementing load reduction around the country.

The utility says this is to protect its infrastructure from overloading.

Seven provinces will be affected, with the Free State and Northern Cape escaping the power cuts.
