The provincial government doesn't have the money for repairs and is now approaching the Presidency.
Transport MEC, Ndabezinhle Sibiya says prolonged rainfall are destroying the infrastructure and bridges.
"We are using cutting edge technology so that we keep up with the frequency of cut off low pressure system which brings heavy rainfall for a prolonged period. There is R80 million that was set aside just for the planning of our bridges." he added
