DURBAN - KZN Cogta MEC, Thulasizwe Buthelezi, has placed disaster management teams on high alert following a weather warning by the South African Weather Service.
The warning is an Orange Level 8 for disruptive rain over the coastal area for the next 3 days.

Buthelezi has urged people to stay indoors if possible as there’s a risk of low-lying bridges being flooded by fast-flowing rivers and rockfalls.
