JOHANNESBURG - There are growing calls for the government to bring back members of the South African National Defence Force deployed in the DRC.
This follows a number of attacks that has cost the lives of 5 soldiers so far in Eastern DRC.
Earlier this month, a soldier was killed in a hand grenade explosion at their base in Beni.
In June, two South African soldiers died in an attack by M23 rebels.
So this begs the question: Does the growing list of casualties warrant a withdrawal from the DRC?
