JOHANNESBURG - The legal battle between the City of Johannesburg and informal traders continues in court.
The Socio Economic Rights Institute of South Africa, claims the city is violating their constitutional right to earn a living.
The case comes after authorities removed informal traders from various areas in the Johannesburg CBD.
A move the city says is in line with municipal by-laws.
The organisation's Zanele Khanya says the livelihoods of informal traders are under threat.
