Discussion | Joburg court has four-year backlog of RAF cases

JOHANNESBURG - The High Court in Johannesburg has a four-year backlog of Road Accident Fund cases that still need to be settled. 

This follows a declaration that due to budget constraints, the circuit can't appoint new judges.

In the previous year, the court recruited 29 acting judges just to prevent a complete collapse of its functions.
