Reports of mass shootings have become a regular feature in the province.
Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Police Ian Cameron, is confident police will deal with the rising cases of mass killings.
Last month 18 members of a single family were mowed down in the Eastern Cape, while 6 patrollers were shot dead during a meeting.
The latest incident took place on Friday when 5 family members were killed in a home in Mthatha.
