JOHANNESBURG - The Higher Education Department has confirmed that Trinity International Bible College is not registered.
It trended recently when it awarded an honorary doctorate to actor Sello Maake kaNcube.
It's also awarded honorary degrees to gospel singer Winnie Mashaba and businesswoman Shawn Mkhize.
The department says the university is now considering taking legal action against the institution.
It says the institution has been persistently ignoring the department's regulations.
