JOHANNESBURG - As holidaymakers prepare to head back home in the coming days,
The Road Traffic Management Corporation is expected to step up its efforts to lower traffic accidents and fatalities, particularly in the Eastern Cape.
The agency will recruit transport operators, traditional leaders and the public to assist in this effort.
Cape Town, eThekwini, Johannesburg and Tshwane will be given special attention because of the high number of fatal crashes recorded in those cities.
