JOHANNESBURG - A report by the Water and Sanitation Department paints a worrying picture of the state of water quality and infrastructure in South Africa.
It's found that forty-six percent of water supply systems pose health risks, while sixty-seven percent of wastewater treatment works are nearing failure.
Meanwhile, 47-percent of water is lost through leaks.
