MATSHAVANA, MP - Sub-Saharan Africa could see a dramatic rise in dementia by 2050, due to an increasing ageing population.
In South Africa, more than a million people could be living with dementia in the coming decades.
Researchers are excited about pioneering tests, which could improve the assessment of dementia.
Stash Gomes, from Wits University's Rural Public Health and Heath Transitions Unit says these tests will help identify the true extensive of dementia.
