CAPE TOWN - The Standing Committee on Public Accounts wants the Special Investigating Unit to be adequately funded so it can effectively fight corruption and maladministration.
Currently, 40% of the graft-busting unit’s funding comes from the National Treasury while it is expected to raise 60% by invoicing the entities it investigates.
