JOHANNESBURG - The High Court has pulled the plug on the City of Johannesburg's VIP Protection Policy, and ActionSA is here for it.
The policy, which was passed in March 2024, proposed costly security measures for public representatives, including bodyguards and entourages.
ActionSA, along with other critics, argued that this was a misuse of municipal resources which could have been better spent on service delivery.
