Discussion | Court dismisses speaker's urgent bid to block arrest

JOHANNESBURG - Nthabiseng Dubazana, Director and attorney at Dubazana Attorneys, spoke to eNCA about the High Court in Pretoria ruling that a court cannot interdict statutory authorities from exercising their duties.

This is after National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe  Mapisa- Nqakula brought an urgent application to interdict police from arresting her last month.
