JOHANNESBURG - The rate at which prices are going up has cooled off a bit.
Inflation fell to 5.3% in March down from 5.6% in February. The Reserve Band has tried to inflation by raising interest rates.

The Reserve Bank targets an inflation band of 3-6% and it’s waiting for inflation to come down more significantly before it starts to cut interest rates.
