Discussion | City of Johannesburg approves surveillance by-law

CURBAN - The City of Johannesburg has approved a new by-law for the purpose of regulating CCTV cameras in the city.

The law seeks to ensure that private cameras and their footage are used in a way that complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
