Discussion | Calls grow for Joburg mayor to walk

JOHANNESBURG - A coalition of civil society organisations -- including the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse and Rivonia Circle -- have slammed the quality of service delivery in Joburg.

The groups say the crisis has worsened under the leadership of Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda.

The groups under the Joburg Crisis Alliance umbrella organisation held a media briefing where they detailed the reasons for their calls for Gwamanda and his mayoral committee to resign.
