JOHANNESBURG - Some hospitals in Gauteng have been without phone services for over 5 weeks.
Families are unable to get in touch with their loved ones because of this.
Due to payment inquiries made by the service provider Telkom, Gauteng Health says that only 11 sites are impacted by the telephone lines being down.
The Steve Biko and Charlotte Maxeke hospitals are among the hospitals affected.
The Democratic Alliance spokesperson Jack Bloom spoke to eNCA about this.
