PRETORIA - Over 1,500 geographical names have been changed in South Africa since 1998.
The South African Geographical Names Council - that's responsible for name changes - says these measures seek to redress and reform the country's system.
Most name changes have occurred in KwaZulu-Natal with the Eastern Cape and Limpopo receiving the least.
Council chairperson, Palesa Kadi, spoke to eNCA.
