JOHANNESBURG - Some political parties and civil groups are opposing the BELA Act rather than addressing specific concerns with its language provisions.
That’s according to the Pan South African Language Board.

This follows the march at the Voortrekker Monument on Monday against Sections 4 and 5 of the Act.
The Board plans to meet with the concerned group to discuss the issue further.
