ANC forced to hand over cadre deployment records 1
JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has five working days to hand over to the DA all records relating to its cadre deployment, dating back more than a decade.
The Constitutional Court has thrown out the ANC’s bid to appeal against a lower court ruling on its controversial cadre deployment policy.
The ANC will now have to hand over the records of the deployment committee from January 2013.
President Cyril Ramaphosa was chairperson of the committee at the time.
Political analyst, Professor Dirk Kotze says cadre deployment is one of the best known policies of the ANC.
And many of the party’s woes over the past decade can be traced back to it.
Kotze discussed this with eNCA.
