Discussion | Activists react to new climate change laws

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is among the top 15 greenhouse gas emitters in the world.

Now, there are concrete steps to try and change that.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has signed the Climate Change Bill into law.

It will allow the country to meet targets set in the Paris Climate Agreement.

Experts and activists believe the proof of mitigation efforts is in the implementation.
